Meet Daisy!
She is the inspiration to this page and my seasonably-fashionable office mate. Daisy is also an excellent learning tool and supervisor. Daisy is a gift from my friend & mentor, the late Kim Palka, ND. Dr. Kim loved to cook, teach, and heal people; she remains a huge inspiration to me and how I practice medicine.

Green Smoothie
Detoxifying, refreshing, and satiating, this smoothie is a great start to the day, or snack at any time. Including the fruit/veggie skin in the smoothie means more nutrients and fiber.

Lactofermented Veggies
Fermented foods are often call “super foods” or “pre-digested” foods because the fermentation process helps break down plant sterols, which are very difficult for the human body to digest.

Bad to the bone broth
Bone broth health benefits are numerous and include gut health, bone strength, ligament healer, and digestive aid.

IMMUN-I-TEAS
Herbal teas have been shown to provide subtle yet significant improvements in health. Here we delve into the immune-strengthening power of tea. When outdoor temperatures go down, consumption of warm foods and beverages should go up to nourish and warm the body.
